Puppet Theatre

Lviv Puppet Theatre was founded on the 15th of April 1946. More than 200 thousand children and adults applauded the fairy heroes here.

PROFILE

Heroes of more than 200 performances are making little spectators happy. Adults aren’t left behind too – they were represented with the "Christmas Night" by Gogol, "Misfortune of the tender heart" by Sologub, "Mademoiselle Nitush" by Melyak, "Lefthander" by Leskov and others.

This theatre is a participant of many international and Ukrainian festivals, examinations and competitions. It is an owner of different honorable awards. Recently the performance "Rimtimti" was awarded with a Grand Prix at the International Festival in Lomzhe city.

There is a Puppet Museum in the theatre, which is free of charge for visitors.
